The Monmouth County Park System is proud of its six golf facilities and the
recreational opportunities that they offer. With five Championship courses, two 18-hole executive facilities, and a nine-hole par
three course, Park System golf courses are able to accommodate golfers of all skill-levels.

GolfWorld is another recreational opportunity for some of the golfing
guests who can't seem to get an acceptable tee time at the local public
courses. GolfWorld is located about 15 minutes west of Ashling Cottage
on Rt. 34 in Wall.

For those looking for an even more serene setting than the beach, Manasquan Reservoir is within a 20 minute drive for hiking, boating and fishing. State Park Rangers manage and maintain the park for the state. The reservoir is stocked with trout and bass every year, bringing fishermen looking for the excitement of the fresh water experience. |
