Garden State Parkway to exit 98. Take Rt. 138 East for 3 miles to exit for Rt. 35 South (Sea Girt). Proceed straight on Rt. 35 South (approx. 2 miles) to the third traffic light (Warren Avenue). Make a left on Warren and proceed about ¾ mile to Rt. 71. Cross over Rt. 71 and proceed to Fifth Avenue (stop sign at the "dangerous" intersection). Continue straight, with the lake now on your left side, to First Avenue. Make a left on First Avenue. Proceed two blocks to Sussex. Make a left turn on to Sussex Avenue. We are the second building on the right (next to the Ocean House on the corner) at 106 Sussex Avenue.

You can bypass turnpike and parkway traffic by taking the NJ Transit train to the Spring Lake Railroad Station. The station is six blocks from Ashling Cottage B&B. It is a comfortable and scenic walk around our beautiful lake. If you want, and we are available, we will pick you up at the train station or bus stop.
