After observing the frustration of our guests in obtaining dinner accommodations during the Summer Season and the off-season weekends, we have decided to routinely “strongly suggest” that they make reservations with the restaurants they want to dine at during their stay. Our guests should do this immediately after they have made reservations for their room accommodations with us.

We want to eliminate the long waits for dinner that can occur frequently. We want our guests to experience the “Executive Pass For The Exhibits At Disney” feeling.

We have selected just two restaurants to keep the restaurant recommendations rewarding, simple, productive and focused for our guests.

We have selected these restaurants for the following reasons:

They get “rave reviews” from our guests who have dined at these restaurants.
They take reservations. (Most restaurants in this area do not take reservations.)
They are both within a five-minute walk from our Bed & Breakfast along the “wedding perfect lake” in town.

Whispers Restaurant

This restaurant was recommended in Travel & Leisure Magazine in the April 2000 issue as the restaurant of choice in our town. This was the same article that recommended Ashling Cottage as the Bed & Breakfast of choice in the town.

Sisters Café
(on Third Avenue in Spring Lake) 732-449-1909
Three sisters own and run this restaurant. They serve a full-house of “locals” all year round. It is on the main street in town.

We think that these suggestions will make your stay with us more memorable and enjoyable. Your vacation and getaway time is too valuable to waste it waiting in lines.
